COVID-19 Guidelines and Safety Plan:
Medusa will keep up-to-date on all city, state, and USAU guidelines and abide by those put forth. Medusa Core will advise all players and coaches to test before and after tournaments and when traveling.
Sexual Assault/Harassment Policy and Reporting:
Due to events that came to light in the 2022 off-season with a different local team, Medusa Core dedicated time and energy to learn more about how we could help survivors, we fundraised for RAINN (the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization), and we created our own policy and reporting system. Medusa is committed to providing a safe environment for all its players and coaches free from discrimination on any grounds and from harassment/assault at practices, scrimmages, games, or any team event.
Medusa has done the following to ensure our players and coaches safety:
1) Created and published our Sexual Assault/Harassment Policy
2) Created our Sexual Assault/Harassment anonymous form for team member reporting
3) Required all Core members and Coaches to complete USAU SafeSport Training
